The Beyonce Experience! @ GM Place Sept 7

Beyonce burns up the stage in her action packed high energy experience! In a conventional concert layout, she put on quite an unconventional show. With a massive screen and stairway complex, her girl band "Suga Mama" blasted the audience into another world. Beyonce's voice is second to none as she powered her way into our eardrums and shook our bones to the core.

Aside from my obvious bias towards Beyonce, I have to say that this was yet another example of a child musical prodigy that has acheived greatness. She fired off hit after hit with the the same fire and intensity each time. Beyonce's incredible dancing was so high energy and challenging that she really earned the breaks in between songs to catch her breath and change into yet another stunning outfit. In order to be able to pull something like this off Beyonce has to be an incredible athlete. I can not imagine what its like to have to be able to remember all the choreography, lyrics plus manage that V8 of a voice box that she has. She slam dunked a 2 1/2 hour marathon with a smile on her face and then connected with the audience for a bit and sang happy birthday. Her 26th bday had just passed so of course my heart melted when she talked a bit about her life and how passionate she is to be a performer and inspire all kinds of people. She came across as very humble and greatful to her fans for buying her records and giving her such a good life.

The unique part of this perfomance was the amazing colour schemes that changed for each song. With 2 flights of stairs (no she didnt wipe out) all lined with different colour light tubes, combined with the massive HD and Back wall screen, This was definetly something I'll never forget. Beyonce is a professional that has perfected her craft. And in so doing, has inspired countless people across the world with her talent. Im willing to predict that Beyonce will continue to throw down even bigger hits in the future. When her next album comes around people will be looking for something a little bit different, but with the same passion and raw talent.
