Bon Jovi, December 15 and 16 @ GM Place!

Jon BonJovi and his band spent the weekend @ GM Place with 2 shows that were 2 1/2 hours each! Richie Sambora was his usual self as he owned his guitar and as a result owned the audience. Tico Torres' drumming perfection thundered throughout the arena. David Bryan on keyboard and vocals provided excellent depth to the sound. Jon belted out the tunes proving that he can still fill an arena with his sound after 20 incredible years! Bon Jovi has performed at over 2,500 concerts for 32 million fans and sold 120 million albums worldwide.

The next leg of their tour starts Jan 11 in Japan before returning to North America with dates booked through August. Most of their stops are multi night performances.

Their Tour Started at the end of October with 10 sold out nights to open the new Prudential Center in Downtown Newark, New Jersey! This was part of a revitalization project initiative by the City of Newark. Bon Jovi was happy to take part in a worthwhile project to benefit their home town.
Bon Jovi also spent a lot of time in Vancouver in the 80's while working on their first few hit albums. Jon told a few interesting stories about a few of the band's experiences and took some time to connect with the audience. There was one omission though and that was the hit classic "Bed of Roses". They played every other hit, however and sent the fans home happy. I must add that the crowd was pretty well behaved. The eviction ratio was significantly lower than other events at GM Place!
