

The Honda Center was previously known as the "Arrowhead Pond". In 2006 Honda paid $60 million over 15 years for the naming rights. The building opened in June 1993 just in time for the Anaheim Mighty Ducks inaugural season in the NHL. The building was designed by HOK Sport at a cost of 123 million. The Building capacity for hockey is 17,174 and 18,400 for concerts. The Honda Center has hosted 2 Stanley Cup Finals series in 2003 vs New Jersey and last season's Championship Run vs the Ottawa Senators.
It is located on E. Katella Ave across HWY 57 from Anaheim Stadium and a short walk from Anaheim's Metrolink Station.
The Arena is managed by Anaheim Arena Management LLC which is owned by Broadcom Chairman Henry Samueli.
